Vintage 2023 Plan and new wines!

Wow! It’s nearly the end of February 2023! We’ve only just released the 2022! In the wine world though, there is a lot of planning and prep that needs to be sorted. In a perfect world, you would sell out before you release your next product. Unfortunately it’s not that easy! With that said, there is a huge amount of fun and excitement around the next vintage. 

So in 2023, we’re making the Barossa Valley Syrah again, same quantities, same style, same stunning vineyard in Bethany! We’re also adding a Barossa Valley white, a Grenache Blanc… or as I prefer, the Spanish alternative, Garnacha Blanca! 

Why Garnacha Blanca? Well, typically the French Grenache Blanc finds itself in Southern Rhone white blends. In Spain though, Garnacha Blanca is made as single variety! As a wine buyer for many years in the UK I just loved the Spanish expression. So when the opportunity came along to make a Garnacha Blanca out of the Barossa, I've jumped on it. It’s super limited though, we’re looking at like 1000 bottles max! There just isn't a lot of plantings here. Stay tuned for updates and release schedule.

Last of all, quality permitting, a single barrel of Barossa Valley Syrah. This is special! Hand picked, wild yeast, unfined, unfiltered, extended maturation in old French oak, and bottle maturation too! Likely to be only 400 bottles.
